There have been several questions about maturity of the most popular Virginia market types we are growing. Images of Bailey versus Bailey II and Bailey II versus Emery versus Sullivan are found at the link below. It looks like the three varieties we will be growing for the near future reach optimum maturity at about the same time (Bailey II, Emery, Sullivan.)  The window will be tight for harvest. Also keep in mind that a three week difference in planting date generally equates to no more than a week’s difference in pod maturity.
