Chowan County 4-H is hosting a Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Open to Chowan County youth (up to age 18). See flyer below for additional details.

Entries are due to the Chowan Extension Office by October 20th at 12:00 p.m Pumpkin entries will be on display at the Ag Extension Building from October 23rd - October 27th.

• Open to Chowan County youth
• One pumpkin submission per participant
• Winners will be announced October 31
• Pumpkins will be on display at the Chowan Ag/Extension building
• Community members will be able to vote on their favorite pumpkin!

Contest rules:

• Must pre-register to participate
• Participants will decorate (no carving, please) a pumpkin at home using their own pumpkin and supplies
• Entries must be submitted to the N.C. Cooperative Extention, Chowan County Center by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20th

Age Divisions:

• Open class (under 5 years old)
• Cloverbuds (5-7 years old)
• 8-10 years old
• 11-13 years old
• 14-18 years old
