2024 Albemarle Area Landscape School

This year’s Albemarle Area Landscape School will be held on Feb. 9th, from 8 am to 1:30 pm at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Pasquotank County Center at 1209 McPherson St., Elizabeth City. N.C. Landscape Contractors will receive 2B and 2L credits, and N.C. Pesticide Applicators will receive 2 hrs of N, L, D, & X credits. A detailed schedule of the presentations can be found below.

8:00 am - 8:15 am Registration 

8:15 am - 9:00 am Weed Identification, Grace Atkins and Ted Manzer

9:00 am - 10:00 am Pesticide Handling & Safety, Chris Hassel

10:00 am - 11:00 am 811: Landscape Worker Safety Pertaining to Underground Utilities

11:00 am - 11:45 am Managing Warm Season Turf, Grady Miller

11:45 am - 12:30 pm Warm Season Turf Diseases, Lee Butler

12:30 pm - 1:30 pm Sponsored Lunch
