The N.C. Cooperative Extension of Chowan County Master Food Volunteers (EMFV) is hosting a Donation Station at the Edenton Farmers Market on the last Saturday of the month May-August 2022. What is a Donation Station? The Donation Station is a table set up where people can donate money or actually buy produce at the Farmers Market to donate. If money is donated the Extension Master Food Volunteers go around to the vendors and purchase fresh produce. All donations are then delivered to the Food Pantry in Edenton after the Farmers Market to be distributed that next week. If you are interested in donating come see us at the Edenton Farmers Market the last Saturday of the month on July 30th or on August 27, 2022, from 8 am-12 pm. If you are interested in becoming an EMFV contact Mary Morris via email at mary_morris@ncsu.edu or call 252-482-6585.
