Extension Master Food Volunteer training will begin this year on July 1, 2024, for Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Perquimans, and Pasquotank Counties. Good News the training is mostly online with a few hands-on in-person classes. Costs of the program is $50 however this year we have grant funds to cover these costs.
The 2024 application for the EMFV program is now open for Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Perquimans, and Pasquotank Counties. The application deadline is June 28, 2024, but sign up early because spots are limited!
NC State Extension Master Food Volunteer (EMFV) program allows NC residents to engage with their communities by supporting N.C. Cooperative Extension programming in nutrition, cooking, food safety, and food systems. N.C. Cooperative Extension provides evidence-based information through community classes and events.
