Chowan County 4-H is hosting a pumpkin decorating contest! This contest is open to youth ages 5-18 that reside in Chowan County. Please complete a registration form for each youth you are registering. Click to register.

Participants will DECORATE (no carving, please) a pumpkin at home using their own pumpkin and supplies. Entries must be brought to the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Chowan County office by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021.

Pumpkins will be on display at the Public Safety Center (305 W. Freemason St, Edenton) during the week of October 25–29. Community members will be asked to vote on a "fan favorite."

Gift card prizes will be awarded for 1st place in each age category and overall fan favorite (based on community votes). Cloverbuds (5-7 years old) will not compete but are still eligible to participate.
