N.C. The Cooperative Extension, Chowan County Center, will host a Canning Class on October 8, 2025, covering basic Pressure Canning while making Canned Sweet Potatoes. In this class, attendees will participate in hands-on canning activities. This class costs $10 per person and will be held on October 8, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Chowan County Ag Building.
