N.C. Cooperative Extension, Chowan County Center is hosting several canning workshops this summer. The next workshop being offered is the Canning Pickles on June 21st at the Chowan County Cooperative Extension. The daytime class will be offered early from 1-3:00 pm and the evening class will be from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The class cost $5 for participants and each class allows for 6 so sign-up early space is limited. This is a hands-on class so participants will be going through the step-by-step process of making quick pickles.
