The North Carolina Aquaculture Association’s Crawfish Grower’s Group will hold its annual meeting on Friday, March 8, 2019, at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Beaufort County Center in Washington, NC from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The Extension Center is located at 155-A Airport Rd, Washington, NC 27889.

This meeting provides an opportunity for all crawfish producers and persons interested in crawfish production in the state to come together to share information and experiences as well as learn about the latest in crawfish production practices. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. with a welcome from James Bass, the current president of the NCAA Crawfish Group. On the agenda will be discussions of last year’s crawfish promotional boils and the upcoming 2019 boils. There will also be discussions about crawfish population dynamics, and crawfish marketing opportunities. The meeting will conclude with the election of new officers.

All persons interested in crawfish production in North Carolina should make plans to attend this meeting. There is no cost for this meeting, but registration for this meeting is required by March 5, 2019. For more information, contact Steve Gabel at the N.C.
